Welcome, Internet Friend!
Alex Falcone is a comedian of average height living in Portland, OR. He writes a column about movies for The Willamette Week and is the creator and host of the live talk show Late Night Action w/ Alex Falcone and the surprisingly popular podcast Read it and Weep, in which people pay him to suffer through bad books and movies. One time he was on the IFC show Portlandia and he still gets emails about it.
Despite these modest accomplishments, he somehow remains totally down to earth and approachable.

show EARTHQUAKE HURRICANE
My weekly standup show that I host with incredible comedians Curtis Cook, Bri Pruett, and Anthony Lopez. This is the premiere standup showcase in the city, focusing on the best comics in Portland and beyond.
Every Wednesday at 9:00 inside Velo Cult Bike Shop. Find this week's lineup here: earthquakehurricane.com
Sep 16 FEELING A LITTLE LIGHT in the wallet area? Don't you worry—we've all been there. I have it on good authority that Gus Van Sant once sold a kidney on the black market to buy camera equipment—and it wasn't even his kidney.
Sep 1 Here's my set from the 2015 Portland's Funniest Person contest.
Jul 15 YOU MAY NOT KNOW anybody who lives on the river, but I promise you know somebody who knows somebody who lives on the river. In Portland, you're never more than two degrees from a river residence. If you're too lazy to put out the call on Facebook and spend a week exploring the dope-ass boat cribs in your extended network, FEAR NOT, I did it for you.
Jul 13 This is the worst thing I've ever done for comedy. But I'd rather by funny than happy.
Apr 5 My writing team and I played the immersive escape-the-room game 60 Minutes to Escape in Portland. We're pretty good puzzle solvers but terrible spies.
